We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Vail Valley Surgery Center in Vail, Colorado. This role is pivotal in providing expert, compassionate, and individualized nursing care to surgical patients and their families within a dynamic outpatient surgical environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily patient flow, ensuring optimal patient care, safety, and satisfaction. This involves close collaboration with providers, staff, and other team members to achieve superior patient outcomes and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive and individualized nursing care for surgical patients and their families.
Collaborate effectively with providers, staff, and the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Oversee daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Triage incoming patient requests for services, information, and assistance efficiently.
Deliver thorough patient education to facilitate the plan of care, informed healthcare choices, and promote optimal wellness.
Delegate patient care appropriately and in accordance with Colorado state statutes.
Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in surgical procedures while consistently adhering to patient safety guidelines.
Coordinate patient care seamlessly with other physician practices and facilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse with a specialization in Operating Room (OR) nursing.
Ability to work on-site at Vail Valley Surgery Center in Vail, Colorado.
