Job Summary
Join a dedicated Operating Room team in Corvallis, Oregon, specializing in comprehensive cardiac care for surgical and procedural sedation patients. This role involves providing expert perioperative nursing care across a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly individuals.
As a CVOR RN, you will collaborate closely with a variety of provider specialties, ensuring high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, whether they are discharged the same day or require hospital admission. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your specialized skills in a dynamic surgical environment focused on cardiovascular health.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Demonstrated experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) or Open Heart surgical settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience.
- Experience with surgical scrubbing.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in cardiac surgical nursing care and procedural sedation.
- Strong understanding of perioperative patient management for diverse age groups.
