Job Description
Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Operating Room
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift
Hours per Shift: 10 hours (08:00 AM to 06:00 PM)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years required.
License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required.
Must-Have:
- 1 year recent experience in the Operating Room.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Description:
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year recent experience in the Operating Room.
A graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
A valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided is necessary.
Basic Life Support certification must be current.
A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
Three to five years of circulating and scrubbing experience in the Operating Room is preferred.
Certification in CNOR is preferred.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is preferred.
Skills in pre-op areas are preferred.
IV start skills are preferred.
