Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for surgical patients across a variety of specialties
Deliver expert nursing care throughout the perioperative process, including GYN, bariatric, vascular, orthopedic, neuro, and plastic surgeries
Implement and evaluate nursing interventions, adjusting care plans to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Document all nursing care accurately and in compliance with organizational policies and professional standards
Exercise sound clinical judgment and specialized knowledge to safely coordinate care for patients of all ages
Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe operating environment and ensure seamless procedures
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of recent General OR experience
Hands-on experience with GYN, bariatric, vascular, orthopedic, neuro, and plastic surgeries
Previous travel experience
Active Maryland RN license (or willingness to obtain)
Current AHA BLS certification
COVID-19 vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
No scheduling restrictions; flexible availability to work the facility's schedule
Willingness to complete mandatory 48-hour compliance if offered
