    Travel RN - Operating Room - Nights

    Location

    Albany, New York

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room during night shift hours
    • Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a variety of surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures
    • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care
    • Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols throughout all surgical cases
    • Fulfill on-call requirements as needed per unit policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
    • Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
    • Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical specialties
    • Ability to meet travel contract requirements including working night shift hours
    • This position is open to travel candidates only; local candidates from ineligible counties will not be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a large academic or high-acuity medical center environment
    • Comfort and flexibility with on-call scheduling requirements
    • Familiarity with a variety of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
