Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a variety of surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader OR team to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Fulfill on-call obligations as required by the facility
• Adhere to a 1:3 weekend commitment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or compact equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Strong demonstrated experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical specialties
• Candidates residing in ineligible local counties are not accepted for this position; only true travel candidates will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with multiple surgical service lines and ability to adapt across specialties
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in large hospital settings
