Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Monday through Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room during scheduled day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), four days per week
- Fulfill on-call requirements of approximately 4–5 shifts per month, including weekday and weekend call coverage
- Respond to on-call assignments within a 30-minute response time
- Participate in self-scheduling for on-call shifts following the initial onboarding period
- Adhere to monthly scheduling timelines, with drafts released on the 5th and finalized by the 15th of each month for the following calendar month
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
- Experience in Operating Room nursing
- Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time requirement
- Availability for on-call shifts including weekday evenings and weekend rotations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
- Familiarity with PACU workflows or cross-trained OR/PACU background
