Key Responsibilities- Provide scrub and/or circulating RN coverage in a high-volume surgical operating room environment
- Support a broad range of surgical service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care
- Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation throughout the perioperative process
- Adhere to a variable schedule with on-call requirements as needed
- Float to other departments in accordance with facility floating policy
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Skill level of 3 or higher in Joint, Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular — no exceptions
- Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in robotic surgery procedures
- Background in burn and trauma surgical cases
- Familiarity with high-acuity, Level II trauma center environments
