Key Responsibilities
Deliver quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process in an operating room setting
Perform circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and ophthalmological procedures
Work collaboratively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
Carry out functions in accordance with facility policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines
Support both outpatient and inpatient surgical cases for adult and pediatric patients
Required Qualifications
Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous OR circulating experience required
Experience in Orthopedic, OB-GYN, and General surgery required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in Urology and Ophthalmic surgery preferred
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
