Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care as a member of the operating room patient care team
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, Thoracic, and General Surgery
- Support laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures utilizing advanced surgical technology
- Serve as an advisor and resource for patients and their families throughout the perioperative experience
- Float within facility and within scope as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Current BLS certification required
- 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required
- 8-hour annual trauma CEUs required
- Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties as listed above
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Background in evidence-based perioperative care practices
