Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room in Baltimore, MD

Contract | Days | 4x10 Hours, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
• Participate in weekend coverage, with an expected 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Fulfill on-call obligations as assigned, with an expected 4 on-call shifts per 6-week period and a 1-hour response time requirement
• Observe all holiday scheduling requirements as assigned
• Float within scope of practice as needed; travelers are expected to float first with no restrictions

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• CPI certification required for compliance (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online option)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible
• Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no scheduling restrictions
• Former staff of this health system must have been separated for a minimum of 12 months before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Operating Room nursing experience strongly preferred
• ACLS or PALS certification (AHA only) is a plus
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
