    Key Responsibilities
    • Accurately assess patients' needs utilizing multiple data sources to determine actual and potential health problems and functional status
    • Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care interventions, modifying the Nursing Plan of Care and protocols as appropriate
    • Administer medications safely, accurately, and in a timely manner using barcode medication verification (BMV) scanning and review physician orders promptly
    • Communicate patients' clinical status effectively to the healthcare team during clinical rounds and change-of-shift reports
    • Assume a leadership role in organizing patient care, delegating care interventions, and supervising support staff
    • Lead response during medical and psychiatric emergencies and facilitate critical incident debriefing following emergency events
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
    • Experience in an operating room or surgical suite setting
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize patient care needs and apply evidence-based nursing practice
    • Proficiency in accurate clinical documentation including Nursing Plan of Care, protocols, and Assessment Flowsheets
    • Ability to perform point-of-care testing and communicate findings to the multidisciplinary team
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience utilizing a Recovery Oriented Framework to identify and support patient strengths and recovery goals
    • Prior experience leading patient groups and participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning
    • Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and least-restrictive intervention strategies
