    Registered Nurse – Operating Room

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days/Evening Rotation | Onsite | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (excluding on-call time) | Up to 4 call shifts per month including weekends and holidays

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment serving a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, General, Gynecology, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic, and Interventional Pulmonology
    • Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across assigned surgical cases, with a strong focus on orthopedic procedures including joint replacements and sports medicine
    • Participate in on-call rotation including short call (2 hours post-shift once per week), overnight weeknight call (7p–7a), and weekend call coverage (7a–7p or 7p–7a once per month)
    • Complete initial orientation during the first week on a day shift schedule prior to transitioning to assigned rotation
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care throughout the perioperative process
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
    • Minimum 1–3 years of Operating Room experience required
    • Demonstrated scrub experience required
    • Strong Orthopedic OR experience, including Total Joints, required
    • COVID vaccination series, booster, and current flu vaccine required at time of submission
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local travelers will not be accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a teaching hospital setting
    • Specialty area expertise within one or more of the surgical services supported by the OR
