Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience, including pre-op, intraoperative, and post-op phases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the OR team to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile field integrity and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kentucky or a compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to fulfill a 16-week travel contract beginning on or around September 28, 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical setting
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and procedures
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new team environments
