Contract | Days | Onsite | Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM with call requirements | Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included in guarantee)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a high-volume, large hospital operating room environment
• Independently scrub and circulate on a wide range of surgical services including transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• Fulfill call obligations approximately 3 times per month, covering shifts including overnight, evening, and weekend 12-hour call windows
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and continuity of care throughout operative procedures
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 5 or more years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Large hospital operating room experience required
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage transplant, cardiac, and vascular surgical cases
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Broad experience across multiple surgical services within a high-acuity operating room setting
• Familiarity with the expectations and pace of a large academic or teaching hospital environment
