Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room setting across all applicable phases of surgical patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation; weekday call hours run 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM, assigned per call rotation schedule — call requirements may change based on staffing needs
• Participate in weekend coverage as needed, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage across like units as required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November), as may be required of all employees and contractors

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying surgical specialties and float assignments
• Familiarity with on-call responsibilities in a surgical environment
