Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital operating room setting
- Participate in on-call rotation; weekday call hours run from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM as assigned per call rotation schedule
- Fulfill weekend coverage requirements as determined by staffing needs, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including coverage across like units as required
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
- Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room RN experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting
- Familiarity with surgical scrub and circulating roles within an acute care environment
