Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Four 10-hour shifts per week with on-call requirements as needed
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs upon admission and throughout care
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Provide thorough explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties
- Apply nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition in a timely manner
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records in accordance with facility standards
- Participate in continuing education and meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
Required Qualifications- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Demonstrated ability to use professional communication skills to manage conflict and contribute to a healthy workplace environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an Operating Room or perioperative setting
- Familiarity with surgical patient care workflows and sterile technique protocols
