Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | On-Call with 30-Minute Response Required | Weekends and Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting throughout assigned shifts
• Respond to on-call requirements within a 30-minute response window as scheduled
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing demands
• Adhere to facility infection control protocols, including care for patients with communicable conditions
• Complete all required pre-start modules prior to beginning assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC only
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong EPIC charting experience is heavily preferred
• Prior experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
