Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-site | Includes up to 4 on-call shifts per month (end of shift to 7:00 AM) and up to one weekend shift per month | Holiday coverage required
Key Responsibilities
Perform both scrub and circulator roles across a wide range of surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center operating room environment
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team consisting of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists
Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
Participate in emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
Current BLS certification
Radiation badge compliance (provided by agency)
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Scrub experience in the OR setting strongly preferred
Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
