Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room in Clyde, NC

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (6:45 AM – 4:45 PM) | Onsite | Expected 36–40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform OR circulating nurse duties across a range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, GYN, General Surgery, Urology, Plastics, Spine, Podiatry, ENT, and Ophthalmology
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 6-suite OR environment, including a dedicated cardiac surgery OR suite
• Operate and manage multiple standard OR equipment pieces; document patient care using the Paragon EHR system
• Participate in on-call responsibilities, including second call one weekend per month and first/second call twice per pay period, with variable weekend on-call hours
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and flexibility across surgical cases

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with OR specialty experience
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required at minimum
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating across multiple surgical service lines (Ortho, Spine, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Ophthalmology)
• Familiarity with Paragon EHR system
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment
