Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care within a high-volume operating room environment handling approximately 30 cases per day across 16 suites
- Support a broad range of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedics, and Robotics cases
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including weeknight, weekend, and select holiday call coverage, with a 30-minute response time requirement
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with OR technicians, charge nurses, and house supervisors to ensure safe and efficient surgical operations
- Float within the designated zone only in cases of extreme staffing need
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
- Trauma and Neurology OR experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Must be available and present in-state for the full week of facility orientation
- Valid driver's license required; must reside within 60 miles of the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience in an operating room setting
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Familiarity with a multi-facility health system environment
