Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room Circulator
LocationCrestview, Florida
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days – Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with on-call requirement
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other OR personnel to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Ensure appropriate supplies are available and maintain timeliness of surgical cases
- Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
- Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases as required
- Supervise personnel involved in patient care delivery in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and facility policies
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Circulator experience
- Current ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Current PALS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Robotics experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment
- Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and procedures
