Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room Circulator

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days – Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning of patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
• Ensure availability and readiness of surgical supplies and maintain timeliness of cases
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases as required
• Supervise personnel involved in the delivery of patient care within the surgical department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Circulator experience
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Current PALS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Robotic surgical experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and procedures
