Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week | Shift: 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM | Includes call coverage: evening call twice per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), 2–3 holiday calls per contract (rotating blocks), and 2–3 weekend call shifts per contract (12-hour blocks, Saturday or Sunday)
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
- Assist with and support surgical procedures including orthopedic, total joint, arthroscopic, and neurological cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Fulfill on-call obligations including evening, holiday, and weekend call rotations as scheduled
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 18 months of Operating Room nursing experience
- Strong hands-on experience with orthopedic, total joint, arthroscopic, and neurosurgical procedures
- Ability to fulfill call requirements including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment
- Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties beyond core required experience
