Travel RN – Orthopedic / Neurology

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Orthopedic/Neurology unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
- Care for patients undergoing total joint procedures including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as spine surgery
- Utilize and document within a Meditech EMR system
- Operate and manage unit-specific equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices
- Collaborate with charge RNs, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries across day shift operations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current Orthopedic RN or Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Orthopedic and/or spine surgery experience
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
