Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties in the Operating Room, demonstrating critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other surgical team members in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and applicable regulatory standards
• Ensure availability and readiness of surgical supplies and maintain timeliness of cases
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by department scheduling
• Float to an additional surgical location as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Proficiency in circulating duties within a surgical environment
• Ability to fulfill call rotation requirements
• Willingness and ability to float to an additional surgical site as needed
• Availability to work holidays as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner and/or Surginet EMR systems
• Familiarity with endoscopy procedures in addition to standard OR cases
• CNOR certification or equivalent OR specialty credential
