Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and/or circulate across a high-volume OR environment handling 60–80 cases per day across 28 operating rooms
- Support a broad range of service lines including orthopedics (total joints), general surgery, robotics, organ transplants (kidney), ENT, oral/maxillofacial, vascular/thoracic, urology, and pediatrics
- Navigate Level 1 trauma cases including neuro, trauma, pediatric, transplant, and procurement cases, including typical overnight trauma OR assignments
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient care coordination
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements (Saturday or Sunday), averaging 2–3 shifts per 6-week schedule period, as well as at least one holiday per schedule period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma OR setting
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple OR service lines including neuro, trauma, pediatrics, transplants, and procurements
- Must have completed at least 1–2 prior travel nursing assignments; this cannot be a first travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience scrubbing and circulating across multiple surgical specialties
- Neonatal and pediatric OR experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical cases
