Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
LocationFort Wayne, Indiana
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call requirement: 1–2 shifts per week, 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Circulate surgical cases across a variety of specialties within the operating room
- Manage all nursing care responsibilities within the OR setting
- Observe the surgical team from a broad perspective to ensure safe and effective care delivery
- Assist the surgical team in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for patients undergoing surgery
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills- da Vinci robotic surgical system experience
- Neuro-spine and cranial surgical experience
- Pediatric OR experience
- Orthopedic trauma experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
