Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Glendale, AZ (may float between multiple campuses in the Phoenix metro area)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, 40 hours per week | PM/Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care.
• Provide nursing care appropriate to each patient's age and condition as documented in nursing and medical plans of care.
• Adhere to evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards.
• Maintain compliance with hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 full years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year of pediatric OR experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Diploma in Nursing.
• Current Arizona RN license or RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, or ability to establish Arizona licensure prior to start date.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Flu vaccination required October through April; exemption requests must be submitted and approved prior to start date. Unvaccinated individuals must sign a Declination & Masking Protocol agreement and mask during the full respiratory virus season.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a pediatric hospital or pediatric specialty setting.
• Comfort and flexibility working across multiple clinical campuses.
