Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts | Start times range from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned outpatient surgery patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Provide care across Pre-op, Pre-Admission Testing, and Post-op / Phase 2 Recovery, including preparation of patients for discharge home
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the outpatient surgery setting
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Maintain expected pace and productivity in a high-volume outpatient clinical environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Prior experience with Epic Optime is required for this role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
• Familiarity with outpatient surgery workflows including pre-admission testing and Phase 2 recovery
