Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care within the Operating Room setting across assigned shifts.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule, which includes weekend call (approximately 5–6 days per month when all positions are filled).
• Actively support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside the provision of patient care.
• Complete all required orientation modules, including online computer-based learning (CBLs), during the designated non-billable orientation period.
• Adhere to facility census-based scheduling adjustments, including potential flex of additional overtime shifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in-hand at time of submission.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible — locals are not accepted.
• Candidates must be available to complete a drug test within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date, with no prior engagements during that window.
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to comply with CDC fit testing guidelines; refusal may result in cancellation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in an Operating Room or surgical setting.
• Comfort with clinical student education and preceptorship responsibilities alongside active patient care duties.
• BSN preferred (required for international travelers).
