Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 40 Hours Per Week | Flexible Scheduling Options Available (5×8s, 4×10s, or a combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols throughout all procedures
• Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after surgical interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact state eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior experience in an operating room or perioperative nursing setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties
• Familiarity with both scrub and circulating roles in the OR
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
