Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0700–1730) | On-site
Key Responsibilities- Circulate in operating room procedures with a heavy focus on Orthopedic, Urology, Spine, and Robotic surgeries
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
- Recognize and report changes in patient condition using sound nursing clinical judgment
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records in accordance with facility standards
- Fulfill call requirements including one weeknight and two weekend days per month, with potential for additional call based on departmental need; may float to other facilities as needed
Required Qualifications- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Demonstrated ability to circulate in the operating room — candidates must be verified as able to circulate prior to submission
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with Orthopedic, Urology, Spine, and/or Robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Experience in a high-volume or multi-specialty surgical environment
