Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 8-hour shifts beginning between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care across a multi-suite OR environment, supporting an average of 9 cases per day across 3 concurrently running suites
- Float to cover Pre-Surgery/PATT and PACU as needed
- Assist with a variety of case types including General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc.)
- Participate in rotating weeknight, weekend, and holiday call; must be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases
- Clock in and out at the facility for all shifts
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Demonstrated OR experience across the case types listed (General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, Cardiology)
- Experience in PACU or ICU in addition to OR experience
- Experience in Pre-Surgery/PATT and PACU settings
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with Paragon EMR
- Ability to adapt to a manager-built scheduling structure and rotating call assignments
