Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (8:45 AM – 9:15 PM) | Monday–Friday with overnight call and holiday call shifts as applicable
Key Responsibilities- Circulate in all surgical areas across a wide range of cases including craniotomies, laparoscopic procedures, endovascular, neuro, and robotic surgeries
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care throughout the full surgical experience
- Participate in Monday–Friday overnight call rotation and holiday call shifts as applicable
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in the OR
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Experience circulating in endoscopy, neuro, and robotic surgical cases required
- Active compact or Tennessee RN license required at time of submission
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 12 months required and must be clearly documented, including where Epic was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt only)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience circulating across a broad range of surgical specialties including endovascular and neurological cases
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Operating Room setting
