Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities- Perform both scrub and circulator roles across a full range of OR specialties, excluding open heart procedures
- Provide intraoperative nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
- Support surgical teams across orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, neuro, robotic, and ENT cases
- Fulfill on-call obligations as required (2x per schedule block)
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system
- Float within skillset as needed based on census and staffing requirements
Required Qualifications- Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care Operating Room experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles (skills checklist required upon submission)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
- Experience with robotic and ENT surgical cases
- Experience in orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgical specialties
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are accepted
