Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) with every other weekend, or 7 on / 7 off

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma OR setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across assigned surgical cases
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care
• Adhere to facility census-based scheduling requirements, including potential flex of additional overtime shifts based on patient volume
• Complete required orientation modules and compliance documentation within designated timelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma OR required
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Must be able to complete drug testing within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• BSN preferred (required for international travelers)
• Ability to flex across multiple OR specialties based on census and resource needs
