Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in the operating room and across perioperative services for all patient populations
Serve as a patient advocate and maintain compliance with surgical standards of nursing practice
Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments on all patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, in accordance with policy
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team — including RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, physicians, and ancillary disciplines — in patient and family assessment and care planning
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and ongoing evaluation
Adequately assess and reassess pain and utilize appropriate pain management techniques
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Thorough knowledge of sterile technique
Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize workload, and manage multiple assignments with multilevel personnel
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Prior experience in perioperative or operating room nursing
