Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the operating room setting
- Coordinate intraoperative patient care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
- Support operating room services including intraoperative functions and related support activities
- Utilize electronic health record systems accurately and efficiently to document patient care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- EPIC experience within the last 12 months
- Recent Cerner experience required
- Each work history entry must indicate the charting system used
- No time off requests (RTO) permitted; start date is firm
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care facility
- Background in operating room or surgical services nursing
