THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse OR Circulator for a full-time permanent position in Los Alamos, NM 87544. The successful candidate will provide perioperative nursing care within the surgical suite, serving as the circulating nurse across scheduled and emergent operative cases. This is a direct hire opportunity reporting to the Surgical Services nursing leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as circulating nurse for surgical procedures across applicable service lines Coordinate perioperative patient care including pre-op assessment, intraoperative support, and post-procedure handoff Maintain sterile field compliance and surgical count integrity Document intraoperative nursing assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR Collaborate with the surgical team including surgeons, anesthesia, and scrub personnelREQUIREMENTS
