Travel RN – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Projected Start: June 1, 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all surgical patients in a 1:1 patient ratio setting
  • Function as both scrub and circulator across all surgical service lines including joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery
  • Operate and assist with advanced equipment including robotics, spine, and vascular systems
  • Accurately document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
  • Fulfill on-call requirements including 1–2 shifts per week and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period, with rotating weekends as needed
  • Collaborate with surgical team members including scrub techs and clinical coordinators across specialty service lines
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license with eligibility to work in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute care Operating Room setting
  • Demonstrated experience in orthopedics, spine, and joint replacement including knee and hip procedures
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to scrub and circulate across all surgical service lines
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • PALS certification and/or CNOR certification
  • Previous charge nurse experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience with ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and function independently
