Contract | Travel | Days | 4-Day Schedule | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Perform observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients in the Operating Room
Function as both a scrub and circulator RN across all service lines including Joint Replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Plastic Surgery
Maintain a 3:1 patient ratio within a 29-bed OR unit alongside a charge RN, additional RNs, surgical techs, and a clinical coordinator
Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and proficient patient charting
Participate in rotating weekend assignments and on-call requirements, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call shifts within each 4-week period
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute care Operating Room setting
Demonstrated experience in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures, specifically knee and hip replacements
Must be able to scrub and circulate across all service lines
Preferred Experience / Skills
PALS certification
CNOR certification
Prior charge RN experience
Strong critical thinking, multitasking ability, and excellent bedside manner
