Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of general surgery procedures
- Function across all surgical specialties supported by the general OR team, excluding Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery
- Rotate across varying shift times, including day, evening, and extended shifts
- Fulfill on-call requirements, including one weekday of call per week and portions of one to two weekends within a six-week schedule
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no restrictions or license hits
- Operating Room nursing experience across multiple surgical specialties
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
- Ability to work rotating shifts and fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Broad surgical scrub and circulating experience across general OR specialties
