Operating Room / Circulator – Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Rotating Shift | Days and Evenings | Option of four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM) or five 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 10:00 AM–6:30 PM) | On-call rotation includes one weeknight per week and every fifth weekend
Key Responsibilities- Perform circulating duties in the operating room to support safe and effective surgical procedures
- Coordinate intraoperative care and serve as the patient advocate throughout surgical cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub technicians to maintain a sterile and organized OR environment
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one weeknight per week and every fifth weekend
- Adhere to facility protocols for patient safety, infection control, and documentation standards
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in operating room circulating
- Ability to work rotating day and evening shifts
- Willingness and availability to participate in on-call schedule, including weeknight and weekend call rotations
- BLS certification required; ACLS may be required
Preferred Experience / Skills- CNOR certification or pursuit of certification preferred
- Experience across a variety of surgical specialties
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in perioperative settings
