Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (TRAVEL ONLY)
Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in surgical care, where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes and healthcare excellence. In this pivotal role, you will utilize the Nursing Process to deliver compassionate, efficient, and culturally sensitive care while leading and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Your dedication will support the department’s strategic goals and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice. Pay: $2,600 Weekly
Shift: 6:30am - 5pm
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience, including experience in Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, or Robotics (DaVinci experience required)
- Proven ability to work with confidential information in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent time management and self-direction abilities
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective interpersonal and delegation skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Leadership experience or previous supervisory roles in nursing
Other Requirements:
- Ability to perform heavy physical work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and frequently
- Willingness to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue, and to handle potentially communicable diseases and hazardous materials
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local healthcare laws, accreditation standards, and compliance protocols
- Additional certifications in clinical specialty areas are preferred
