Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Eve/Night Rotator)

Newton, MA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Evening/Night Rotation | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting across evening and night shift rotations
• Assist surgical teams by performing scrub and/or circulating duties as required
• Monitor patient status throughout perioperative phases, including pre-op, intraoperative, and immediate post-op handoff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols in the OR environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in an Operating Room or perioperative nursing setting
• Ability to work evening and night rotating shifts, including 12-hour shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification or working toward certification
• Experience with scrub and circulating roles across multiple surgical specialties
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in surgical settings
