Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
LocationOak Bluffs, MA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Rotating Shifts — 5 x 8-hour day shifts with variable start times, including on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the operating room throughout the perioperative process
- Perform scrub and/or circulating RN duties as assigned during surgical procedures
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and adhere to sterile technique protocols
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
- Prior operating room nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Flu vaccine required
- Must have own reliable transportation
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in both scrub and circulating roles within a surgical setting
- Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
- CNOR certification preferred
