Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts depending on department staffing) | On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a 4-OR surgical suite with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support a range of procedures including orthopedic, general, colorectal, urological, and gynecological surgeries (robotic, laparoscopic, and open approaches)
• Pull case carts and prepare the OR environment for scheduled surgical cases
• Communicate surgical updates to patient families via phone or Surgical Symphony text platform
• Provide lunch and break relief coverage for fellow OR staff
• Act as second nurse and support resource for after-hours recovery nursing as needed; participate in call rotation (approximately 5 shifts including 1 weekend and evening weekday coverage)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Prior experience within an HCA-affiliated facility
• Familiarity with surgical equipment including daVinci Xi, Hologic Trident, Stryker laparoscopic towers, Hana table, and Olympus Cystoscopy Tower
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive and efficient workflow
