Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across a full spectrum of surgical procedures and specialties
• Support general elective surgeries as well as critical and life-saving surgical interventions
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the operative process
• Adhere to facility attendance and scheduling policies, including potential call shift obligations upon contract extension

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required
• Active Michigan RN license required (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedic, General, Endo-Vascular, Urology, or OB surgical specialties preferred
• Familiarity with a high-volume regional hospital surgical environment preferred
